General Terms and Conditions Dutch Fight Feast

1. These terms and conditions are between the organization (Houw en Hoede) and the participant of Dutch Fight Feast, held from September 4-6 2026 at Active Stay Goirle

2. Eligibility

Registration is personal and non-transferable unless expressly permitted by the organizers.

Participation is by people under 18 is allowed under strict conditions. Please contact the organization if this applies to you.

3. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Participation in HEMA activities involves inherent physical risk. By registering, participants acknowledge and accept that they take part at their own risk and discretion.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to participate. 

The organization shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage sustained during or in connection with the event, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable Dutch law.

Participants are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings.

4. Tickets, Registration, and Cancellation

Registration is confirmed upon receiving confirmation by the organization. A full refund of the ticket price may be requested up to two calendar monthsprior to the event date. After that date, refunds are not guaranteed and may be granted only at the discretion of the organizers.

If the event is cancelled or substantially altered by the organizers, participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and offered an appropriate refund or alternative in accordance with Dutch consumer law.

5. Changes to the Event
The organizers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the schedule, format, or other event details where necessary for safety, logistical, or regulatory reasons. Any significant changes will be communicated to registered participants.

6. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data collected for registration and administration of the event will be processed in accordance with applicable Dutch law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Data will be used solely for purposes related to the organization and operation of the tournament, unless otherwise agreed.
